Let me start off my saying it is constantly raining, give or take a day. I would be miserable without my waterproof hiking shoes and rain jacket. I am also SO THANKFUL I brought my GSU Inception bag. It's amazing how it took me almost 9 years to actually use it.
There is construction right outside our hostel across the street and apparently it's a short cut to our pandas. We walked it today and it shaved off a pretty huge chunk of time AND, the best part, avoided the death hill. Also, less time walking in the rain.
Because the Chinese students left, Tasha and I moved to the 2 other pandas in our area. Their names are Xiang Ge (Wu Gang's son) and Lan Zi. Same drill cleaning their enclosures but it took less time today and Tasha and I split up. Not sure if it was just less of a mess or we are just getting the hang of it.
We were able to feed Xiang Ge but Lan Zi has vision problems so I'm guessing for safety purposes we could really only "observe." Our panda keeper was nice enough to let us inside to take some photos.
It's finally quiet here with very little tourists. I hung around the kindergarten for a while during our breaks. I would do just about anything to work with the little ones... If only I could climb in there. They are all just the cutest!
After dinner, a few of us decided to have a low key movie night with our duvets in the social room.
